Two families residence
Replacing an uninspiring 1980s home, we transformed the site to appreciate its location fully and to create a sense of place. The structural planning eliminated the need for support pillars, allowing each space to have a clean, 'breezy' atmosphere. In addition the it reflects traditional style houses in the neigborhood with the arches windows, lime stone and wood finishings.
The home for two brothers and their families is going to be built on a sea side of El Gouna in Egypt. It has it's own access to a beach and a garden. Full-height windows create a sense of transparency, while organic voids allow light to penetrate the building's core.
